There is one thing worse than painting miniatures, and that is to have unpainted miniatures. Captain's Blog will provide an audience, or in other words motivation, to stimulate my war game miniature painting productivity. In Halifax, we had a great group of gamers and we were constantly in competition with each other. I do not have the same community support in Montreal. I hope that by blogging regularly that I will force myself to paint more. Are you up to the challenge? Pick up a brush.

Awesome! Love the Minfigs.
ReplyDeleteThanks, I always felt Minifigs produced a nice clean product in the mid 1980s. These are the old "lead" figures, not the new pewter ones and they are quite malleable. I worry mostly about the weapons bending and breaking off.
DeleteGood day! Does the frequency of updates of your portal depend on something or you compose articles when you have an inspiration or free time on that? Can't wait to hear from you.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your interest.
DeleteI have to admit that despite my best effort to maintain a painting schedule, it is one of the first things that fall to the wayside when other matters require my attention. Since October I have had a couple of personal matters weighing down me down. I believe that they are now behind me and I will endeavor to be more prolific in the upcoming year.
I have a couple of 15mm armies that I would like to field as well as some 20-25mm Colonial figures that need painting.
